Diver Skills.

Diver Skills and Environment. PADI IDC IE Dive Theory. Course Director Dan Robinson. White Beach, Boracay, Philippines.

Diver Skills is the fourth of five in each set of Dive Theory Exams on the PADI IDC and IE.  On the PADI IE, you will have 12 a.b.c.d. multi-choice questions in each subject and 90 mins. to use as you want for all five.  You may not use the time from Dive Theory for Standards or vice versa.  You will not find out your results for either until you have done both.  You are then told how you did before you go and prepare the rest of your IE.  You will be told if you will do Dive Theory or GSP first and you will sit next to someone doing the other one.

If you fail one Dive Theory topic only, then you may remake that one only on the same IE for no extra fee.  If you do not pass two or more, you will need to pay for and sit a second IE.  There is no remake on GSP as this is open book for digital and paper Instructor Manuals and PADI’s Guide to Teaching.  Dive Theory Exams are with books closed, but you may use your real RDP table, eRDPml and basic calculator, not ‘phone, tablet or laptop

The diver Skills test has no slides from the 2009 PADI Divemaster Course, unlike the other four subjects.  Diver Skills questions come from the Open Water Diver Course, Adventures in Diving Programme, EFR, Rescue Course and DM Course.  PADI’s Encyclopædia of Recreational Diving is a useful reference guide.  Better yet is Dive Theory eLearning, which has questions on both diver Skills and on Environment.  Contact me with the form below and I will sell you a Gift Pass.
