Diving School PADI Philippines. General Systems, Standards & Procedures. IDC. Instructor Exam. White Beach, Boracay.

When you choose your diving school PADI Philippines for your IDC, you should look at which one will train you the best, both to pass your IE and how to teach after.  To be a great PADI OWSI, you must first pass a PADI Instructor Exam.  You may then cross over in a day to SSI with one of their instructor trainers and not do their IE.  To pass the PADI Instructor Exam, you must pass all four segments.  If you are not successful at your first IE, you may pay for and take more.  The PADI Asia-Pacific full IE fee in 2015 is AUD 785 Australian dollars.  The resit fee per segment is A$330.  I have a 100 per cent. first-time pass rate at the PADI Instructor Exam.

Reduce the stress at your diving school PADI Philippines by buying IDC eLearning.  This exempts you from nine lectures at your diving school PADI Philippines and helps you with your GSP Exam.

Your diving school PADI Philippines should give you a lot of practice to pass the Written Exams part of the Instructor Exam.  One of these is PADI Systems, Standards and Procedures.  We all call this “GSP” as you need to know how to look up answers in the “General Standards and Procedures” part of the PADI Instructor Manual.  These exams are open book for digital and paper IMs and PADI’s Guide to Teaching.  The Guide comes with a holographic decal sticker and ships with IDC Crew-paks.  I must fix this hologram to your Instructor Certificate of Completion so a PADI Instructor Examiner can let you sit an IE.

The pass mark on the GSP Exams is 75 per cent.. It has 50 questions, so you must get a min. of 38 right.  You may make a max. of 12 mistakes.  Each one is true-false or abcd multi-choice.  These exams are not updated as often as the IM, so you will often get two “free” correct answers.  You will have 90 mins. or 135 mins. if you have a documented learning disability or if the exams are not available in a language you understand, e.g. Tagalog, Visayan, Dhivehi, Sinhala, Tamil.
