Underwater Photographer.

Underwater Photographer.  Not PADI Digital Underwater Photography.  Dive 1 is an Adventure Dive!  CD Dan Robinson.

When I started to dive and to travel all around the World, my Grandma used to ask me “where I was going swimming next”.  She still does.  When people start to snorkel and then to dive, they want to take pictures to show others what they have seen.  A lot of people take bad photos on land and then try to make you sit and look through them all.  This is the case with diving pics., too.  Let me train you to teach your students how to take a few good shots and not loads of bad ones.

Underwater Photographer is a standard PADI Course that has two dives.  Any PADI Instructor may teach Dive 1 with its knowledge review as a PADI Adventure Dive that can give credit for.

  • The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver cert.
  • The PADI Adventure Diver cert.

This is not the case with the PADI Digital Underwater Photography Course.  With this course, it is Dive 2 that gives such credit and this may only be taught by Specialty Instructors.  Anything else is a clear breach of PADI Standards.  The PADI Underwater Photographer Course is done by (Jr.) PADI Open Water Divers who are at least 10 years of age.  Class topics inc.
