PADI Search & Recovery Diver.  Speciality Instructor Training Course for MSDT.  Student level for Master SCUBA Diver.

Students with the full PADI Search & Recovery Diver Course do not have to do that scenario for their Divemaster.  This is the same for Deep Divers.  The PADI Search & Recovery Diver Instructor Course will help you if you have not used a lift bag or tied these knots since your IDC.

  • Two half hitches.
  • Bowline.
  • Sheet bend.

All instructors may teach the teach the Adventure Dive (Dive 1 and KR 1), but only PADI Search & Recovery Diver Instructors may teach the rest (Dives 2, 3 and 4 and KR 2).

I can build a bespoke package for you, say.

  • PADI Search & Recovery Diver Instructor.
  • Underwater Navigator Instructor.
  • PADI Cavern Diver Instructor.
  • PADI Deep Diver Instructor.
  • PADI Self-Reliant Diver (solo diver) Instructor.

Each two months on the paradise Island of Malapascua, off Cebu, in the Philippines, award-winning PADI DSAT TecRec Course Director Dan Robinson runs.

  • IDC,
  • IDC Staff Course.
  • MSDT.
  • Specialty Instructor Course (PHP 8,000).
  • Technical diving from Tec Basics right up through full Tec Trimix Instructor and Tec Advanced Wreck Instructor.
  • ANDI Cave Course.

Programmes are also available on Koh Tao in Thailand, where I will charge you THB 20,000 for your MSDT Prep or THB 4,000 per Specialty Instructor Course.  I will also travel to wherever else you are in the World, in particular to the UK or to Australia.  PADI will charge you a one-off app. fee per Specialty Instructor rating of AUD 77 in the year 2013 if you do the course with me.  In the Philippines, if you do five at the same time with me, they will charge you for four.  On Koh Tao, if you do five at the same time with me, they will give you your MSDT free once you have your 25 certs.
